There are some sessions that stay with you longer than others—and this was one of them.

I was especially excited going into this one because it was my first maternity session of 2026…and it couldn’t have been a more meaningful start to the year.
From the very beginning, there was a calmness about this couple. Not rushed, not overwhelmed…just steady. The kind of presence you can feel without it needing to be explained.
Their little girl brought so much life and movement to the session, and I found myself not only documenting their connection—but capturing her curiosity and playfulness.
I was constantly aware of where she was—wanting to make sure she was safe while still giving her parents space to be together.

Not something I HAD to do…but something I genuinely wanted to do.
Because caring for my clients, in every sense of that word, matters deeply to me. I want them to feel seen, supported, and fully taken care of—not just through the images, but in the experience itself.

As we talked, Brianna shared more about this season of life—preparing to welcome another baby, choosing again to walk through a natural birth. The same path she had taken before…one she spoke about with so much peace and confidence.
Not because it’s easy. Not because it’s expected…but because it’s what felt right for her and her family.
There was something so grounding about that.
Strength doesn’t always look loud or bold. Sometimes it looks like quiet confidence. Like trusting your body.
Like making thoughtful decisions and standing in them fully.
And that’s exactly what I saw in her.

Getting to document this season for their family and watching them move through it with so much care, connection, and intention was such an honor.
It makes me more thankful to God trusting me with a gift He gave me to be able to serve families and get to witness and be a small part of peoples lives through photography.
